Tryouts and Cuts:
First of all, let me say that I do not enjoy the tryout process. It is hard for me to make cuts, especially to girls that we have known for many years.
At Magnum, we strive to make the best teams that we can each by choosing the girls that are the best suited for each team. Teams are not pre-selected before tryouts. This means that just because you made it last year does not mean that you will make it this year. We make cuts because we want you to play at the level that you fit so you can grow as a player and feel productive. Our hope is to place each girl on a team that we feel matches her skill level best to give everyone a better experience and more playing time. Please understand it is never our intention to hurt anyone's feelings.
If you do not see your name on one of these list there is the possibility that you have been placed on a waiting list. There is a chance that someone may not accept their position and we will contact you. You can also look at playing with another club. If it is after their tryouts are over then we can contact them for you with our scores.

We hope that you enjoyed the tryout process and that you will choose to be a part of the Magnum Volleyball Club if your name appears below. However, due to the fact that many of you tried out for multiple clubs there is always the possibility that some people might not accept their place on the teams listed below. We reserve the right to move people around as necessary to make teams work if we need to in the future.
