About Us

Located in Columbia, South Carolina, Magnum Volleyball Club is a non-profit club and a member of the USAV  that offers the volleyball players of SC a place to shine both regionally and nationally.  Magnum is also committed to growing the sport of volleyball in the Midlands area with youth leagues, clinics, camps, tournaments, and many other venues.  Over the past few years Magnum has established itself as the place for Elite players to thrive, grow, and receive scholarships on the national level.  We are the only club in the area to send teams to J.O. Nationals for the last three years in a row- sending two teams in 2010 and 3 in 2011.

Magnum does well at USAV Nationals and AAUs:

18 Mizuno finishes 13th at USAV Nationals. 

17 Mizuno team finishes 33rd out of 142 teams 
at the AAU Championships in Orlando FL.

16 Mizuno finishes 30th at USAV Nationals.

15 Mizuno team finishes 45th at USAV Natioinals.

Congratulations to the Magnum 16 Mizuno team

The Magnum 16 Mizuno team finished higher than any other Palmetto team has ever finished at a qualifier. 
5th place in the OPEN division at the NEQ in Baltimore in 2011.

Magnum has 2 division winners at Palmetto Regional Championships.


18 Mizuno and 15 Mizuno both win their age group and will go to Nationals. 
16 Mizuno finishes second and will also go to Nationals.



The Magnum 16 Mizuno Team wins MAPL Event #2 Blue Division in Raleigh
finishing first out of 54 teams.  See results of all teams HERE.

All other Magnum teams were at the Southern Classic in the Upstate of SC.



Many Magnum Players try out in Raleigh for the
USAV High Performance teams and do very well. 
  2 Magnum players qualify for the
USA High Performance Teams in 2010

Taylor Treacy (17 Elite) made the Women's Junior A2 National team
Emily Teelon (14 Elite) has made the Girls Select Continental Team
They will practice with their teams in Wisconsin and
play against international competition from July 20-30th.
